

Primed Walls & Leveled Floors!
The milk house studio is coming along SO fast! Well actually it just seems fast to you, but to me, I've been waiting for what feels like years. It's only been two weeks since the project started so I'd say we are making good timing. Here's a snapshot of everything that's happened since the last update! 1. The exterior door (by the road) was replaced, I am going to paint this then post a picture! 2. The second room floor was leveled! This was a big job, literally over 6 inches


1 milkhouse, 4 doorways
This is going to be a big week for the studio! After tearing down the sheets on the wall, we sort of realized why they were put up in the first place... to cover some cracks in the concrete, yikes! Fortuntately, all the cracks can be easily filled and none of them appear to be letting any water in, phew! After the cracks are fixed, next step is primer & paint, hallelujah. I keep telling myself once it's all painted one color it will be magical, I have a feeling magical isn't


the next steps
5 gallons of sweat later and the studio is finally cleaned out! Treasures found: Mildewed beanbags, a mickey mouse chair, a broken beatbox and countless pictures of Abercrombie models. Needless to say, I won't be upcycling any of those gems and I'm planning on making the dumpster trip today! While I was cleaning it out, I had plenty of time to decide what the next steps would be and I think after seeing the pictures, you'll agree these are the must do's. 1. There are 6 window


200 year old milk house
